Yet another busy week in Year 5!
We have been working on the properties of 3D shapes in Maths and then building them using nets. It was tricky but the children worked extremely hard!
In English we have been looking at the different poetry tools used in the Highwayman. The children spotted onomatopoeia, metaphors and repetition. They then changed the stanzas in the poem to create their own version of the Highwayman.
Wee had lots of fun acting out the poem Danegeld by Rudyard Kipling in History. We definitely have some very scary vikings!
