Today we said a fond farewell to Gill Benjamin. We will miss you!
For the past five years, Gill Benjamin from Ulverston Town Band has been working on a project with year 5 teaching them to play the PCornet. We have learnt the basics of brass and played songs (including the Shaun the Sheep theme tune!). The year 5 pupils have then been invited to join Ulverston Training Band. The project has been brilliant and we are lucky to have had this opportunity as a school.
The project will continue so any future Year 5s need not worry! We hope Gill will still pop in to see how we are getting on!
